Dagmar Herrmannová
Project Manager and Co-Founder
Dagmar was born 1974 in Prague.
2000 she finished a Masters degree at Charles University, Prague with specialisation in speech and language therapy and special pedagogy (pedagogy for handicapped).
She worked with deaf children and children with complex needs in various positions in different countries. She started her professional work at Jedlicka’s nursing home for multiply handicapped children in Prague, while continuing to work as a speech and language therapist and consultant for parents at the Centre for Early Intervention for deaf children in Prague. She later worked at the cochlear implant (CI) programme in Prague. She moved to Serbia, Belgrade where she was involved in establishing the CI programme in Belgrade. Later on she worked in Manchester Royal School for Deaf and Communication Disorders, UK.
2004–2011 Dagmar worked for Advanced Bionics as a rehabilitation and education counsellor and supported the projects and trainings regarding rehabilitation of CI users and CI users with complex needs within the area of Central & East Europe, South-East Europe, Central & South-Asia. She was involved in couple projects and researches on complex needs CI users.
Dagmar regularly participates and lectures in international CI conferences.
In the Czech Republic she is involved in charity projects supporting complex needs children and children without families who are confined to residential homes.
She was the initiator of PINK CROCODILE Charity for Children establishment and for PINK CROCODILE she supports the projects for complex needs children in the Czech Republic and the projects supporting deaf children in India.
From October 2011 she begun to work as Rehabilitation Manager at Medel.
