SUPPORT FOR DEAF CHILDREN: Supporting therapy centers for deaf and hearing impaired children throughout the country.
Pink Crocodile supports families living in poverty who have hearing
impaired children so they may to travel regularly to rehabilitation centres for
therapy necessary for their deaf child‘s proper development and integration
to the hearing society.
Pink Crocodile funds renovating, decorating and equiping of the
rehabilitation centres for the deaf children in India
We also assist children in poverty who are cochlear implant* users to ensure
that they are able optimally use their device and enter the mainstream
school system
* A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted device which provides dramatic improvement in hearing to persons suffering from severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss and allows the children to hear normally if proper rehabilitation and programming of the device is regularly provided.
